Bony Innovation Ltd. ("Company", "we" or "us") is committed to your right for privacy. Protecting our users' privacy is an important value, and we take precautions to ensure the protection of our users' personal data as well as to comply with applicable privacy and data protection legislation.

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) which is incorporated by reference in our Search App End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the processing and transfer of data collected in connection with downloading and using our Search browser extension and Services all in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy regulations, including, as applicable to your jurisdiction, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

Please note that your interaction with Third-Party Content (as defined in the Agreement) is not covered under this Policy and such third parties’ privacy practices may differ from our practices detailed herein. We do not control the privacy and security practices of these third parties. We will not be responsible or liable for such third parties’ acts or omissions.

DATA COLLECTION

when accessing or interacting with the Search App and our Services, we may collect certain types of data. The collected data shall include both Personal and Non-Personal Data. Personal Data, means information which identifies or may with reasonable effort identify an individual, including online identifiers, such as IP address, as detailed below. Non-Personal Data, means non-identifiable aggregated data, such as technical data transmitted by the user’s device. This data is not used to identify individuals.

Online Identifiers

Certain technical data may be transmitted to us when using our Search App and Services. The technical data collected shall include: your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses aggregated use of the Service; statistics; type of browser and default search preference; operating system type; language; access time and date; website which lead you to the Services; approximate geographical location; Internet Service Provider.
We use this data in order to maintain, protect and manage our Search App and Services; improve our Service, as well as enhance your experience while you use our Services; for analytic and statistic purposes regarding traffic flow and users’ interaction with our Search App; in order to audit our affiliates, calculate payments and detect fraud, as well as detect and resolve security or technical issues. Your IP address may be used to determine your approximate location (e.g., country) and display relevant advertisements. We will process such data subject to your consent (unless otherwise required by law) through the cookie notice.

Search Queries

When you use our Search App, your search-related data may be collected. The search-related data shall include data regarding the URLs of websites that you visited. In general, such data shall be collected as aggregated Non-Personal Data. However, in some cases, web browsing data contains data that could be considered to be Personal Data. Please note that this data shall be deleted shortly after the following collection.
We will use this data for the purpose of providing certain features of the Services, for example, you with relevant advertising based on searches. We process such Account Information based on contract necessity.

Contact Details

If you voluntarily contact us through any means of communication, we make available you may be required to provide us with certain information such as your name, organization name and email address
We will process this information for the purpose of responding to you and providing you with the requested service, information or support. As applicable. The correspondence will be stored by us in the event we believe it is required, for example, in the event of any claims, or to improve our services. We process such Contact Details subject to our legitimate interest in order to respond to your inquiry.

Please note that the actual processing operation per each purpose of use and lawful basis detailed in the table above may differ. Such processing operation usually includes a set of operations, made by automated means, such as collection, storage, use, disclosure by transmission, erasure or destruction. Transfer of personal data to third-party countries as further detailed in the Data Transfer section is based on the same lawful basis as stipulated in the table above.

In addition, we may use certain Personal Data to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, fraud, misappropriation, infringements, identity thefts and any other misuse of the Company's Search App and Services and to enforce the Terms, as well as to protect the security or integrity of our databases, Search App and our Services, and to take precautions against legal liability. Such processing is based on our legitimate interests.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

According to the nature of your interaction with the Search App and our Services, we may collect information as follows:

  1. Automatically – we may use cookies, or pixels and similar tracking technologies (as elaborated in the Cookies Section below) to gather some information automatically when you access the Search App and Services.
  2. Provided by you voluntarily – we will collect information if and when you choose to provide us with information, such as when you contact us through the online form.
  3. Provided to us by third parties – we receive information about users from our affiliates, partners and distrusters, as detailed above.

In addition, we may share your Personal Data to prevent or detect illegal activities, as well as suspected fraud.

TRANSFER OF DATA

We may store or process the Personal Data we collect in different territories, including the US or EU. If you are a resident of the EU we will take the appropriate measures required under applicable laws to ensure that your Personal Data receives an adequate level of protection upon its transfer outside the EU.

Any information you provide us may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country from which you accessed the Search App and Services. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA“) we will take appropriate measures to ensure that your Personal Data receives an adequate level of data protection upon its transfer outside of the EEA. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction where the transferring of your Personal Data requires your consent, then your consent to this Privacy Policy includes your express consent for such data transfer.

The usage of our Search App and Services may include implementation of “cookies'' or similar technologies, by us or by third parties, which will store certain information on your device. Cookies are used for many different purposes, including, and not limited to, enrich our Search App work, as well as to provide the Services and functionalities for users. The Company is taking the security of the data we collect with great consideration. In order to protect your Personal Data, we employ industry standards and implement technical and administrative security measures. In spite of all our efforts, it is not guaranteed that the Personal Data is 100% secure and we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access or abuse our Service, and we make no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that we will be able to prevent such access.

DATA RETENTION

We will retain the information we collect for as long as needed to provide our Services and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements if applicable, all subject to applicable laws and your instruction. This Privacy Policy shall not be interpreted as an obligation to store information, and we may, at our own discretion, delete or avoid from recording and storing any and all information.

YOUR RIGHTS

We acknowledge that different people have different privacy concerns and preferences. Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect, so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. We provide you with the ability to exercise certain choices, rights and controls in connection with your information. Where we are not able to provide you with the information for which you have asked, we will endeavor to explain the reasoning for this and inform you of your rights, including the right to complain to the supervisor authority (in the event you are EEA resident). We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence to verify your identity before we provide you with any such information in accordance with applicable law.

  • It may take time to process requests in a way that is consistent with applicable privacy law.
  • We may reject your request in case you don't provide required information or according to applicable law.

CHILDRENS’ DATA

Regardless of the aforementioned, we do not knowingly collect or store Personal Data of children, as defined under applicable law, and specifically, under the age of sixteen (16). If we become aware that a user that is considered as a child shared any Personal Data with us, we will discard such data. If you have any reason to believe that a child has shared any information with us, please contact us. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), please be sure to review this Policy with your parents or legal guardians.
